CW GA-BAMA has been bringing top entertainment and local programming to the Columbus, GA – Opelika, AL market for years. The station is broadcast on channel 38.2, the second digital channel of WLTZ NBC 38, and is part of SagamoreHill Broadcasting LLC of Augusta, Georgia.

Originally launching as WYEA in 1970, the station has evolved through the decades—beginning as "YAY-TV" (yes, there was once a cheerleader with pompoms in the promos), later rebranding as WLTZ in 1981, and officially joining The CW network in 2009.

Today, CW GA-BAMA continues to deliver exciting programming, national and local advertising opportunities, and a strong presence in the community. But behind the screen, it takes a dedicated team of professionals to keep everything running. The Leadership Team

🧠 Louis Wall – President
Louis doesn’t just run CW GA-BAMA—he is CW GA-BAMA. With years of experience and an uncanny ability to remember everything, he brings a level of leadership that keeps the station thriving. If you’ve ever met him, he remembers you, your favorite coffee order, and probably what your mother’s dog’s name is.

But it’s not just his memory that makes him stand out—it’s his ability to see the big picture while still catching the smallest details others might miss. Whether he’s guiding long-term strategy, keeping an eye on the market, or making sure the team has what they need to succeed, Louis is always ten steps ahead.

🏆 Ryan Wall – Vice President
If CW GA-BAMA were a sports team, Ryan would be the head coach, general manager, and the guy yelling at the refs all at once. He’s constantly strategizing, making plays behind the scenes, and calling the shots to keep the station ahead of the game.

Ryan keeps his focus on big-picture growth and long-term success, ensuring that CW GA-BAMA stays competitive and continues to expand its reach. When he’s not steering the station toward victory, he’s probably thinking about sports, talking about sports, or finding a way to work sports into a conversation.

📊 Bill Evans – Director of Sales

Bill leads CW GA-BAMA’s sales team with strategic insight and unflappable positivity. He works closely with the team and advertisers to create impactful campaigns that connect brands with audiences. Despite nearly a decade in Georgia, he still refuses to drink sweet tea—an unwavering stance that remains a mystery to us all.

As Director of Sales, Bill brings years of experience and a results-driven mindset to CW GA-BAMA. He leads the sales team, develops advertising strategies, and works with businesses to create impactful sponsorships and campaigns. Whether it’s local businesses or major advertisers, he knows how to connect brands with the right audience and keep CW GA-BAMA at the top of the market.

Just don’t ask him to sweeten his tea. It’s not happening. Ever.

📢 Mark Kirkland – Managing Director, EPO 

 If there’s an event happening, Mark isn’t just attending—he’s already there, shaking hands, making connections, and making sure CW GA-BAMA is front and center. Whether it’s a community gathering, a local business function, or a major event, Mark is the guy who knows everyone and makes sure they know CW GA-BAMA, too. He is the force behind the WLTZ Senior Expo, Chattahoochee Valley Military Golf Classic, and many other events throughout the year.

He thrives on building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and keeping the station actively involved with local businesses. His energy is unmatched, his network is endless, and if you ever wonder where he is—just listen.

Because once hear loud laughter approaching, just know—Mark is on his way.

Sales & Advertising Team

🌎 Bradley Counts – National Sales Manager
Bradley has been making national sales happen at CW GA-BAMA for over a decade, and if you think working remotely keeps him out of the mix, think again. When things start slipping through the cracks, he’s the one making sure they don’t.

Of course, just when he’s got everyone in line, his quick wit kicks in and completely derails the moment. Whether he’s closing a major deal or dropping a one-liner that takes the whole conversation off track, Bradley always keeps things interesting.

💼 Lyndsey Middleton – Sales Assistant / Regional Sales

 Lyndsey is the backbone of regional sales, keeping everything running smoothly, on schedule, and (mostly) under control. From managing accounts to supporting the team, she ensures that deadlines aren’t just suggestions and that nothing slips through the cracks. If something needs handling, Lyndsey’s already two steps ahead.

She also never wears the same outfit twice, proving that effortless organization and impeccable style are not mutually exclusive.

📑 Desi – Sales Assistant / Station Coordinator

 From processing sales orders to updating the website, guiding events, handling national sales, editing commercials, and running the day-to-day chaos of the office, Desi wears a lot of hats (most of them not listed in her job description). She also edits Chattahoochee Valley Living, helping bring local stories and features to life.

For reasons unknown, she’s also the unofficial IT department—because if the printer breaks, who are you going to call? (Spoiler: It’s her.)

🎭 Kristen Nesbitt – Senior Account Executive
Kristen believes there’s a perfect wine pairing for every situation—and honestly, she’s probably right. But when she’s not recommending the ideal red or white, she’s working with businesses to craft the perfect advertising strategy. 

 As a Senior Account Executive, she helps clients navigate the ever-changing world of media, build strong campaigns, and make sure their ads land in just the right spot. Whether it’s a small local business or a major advertiser, Kristen knows how to match brands with the best opportunities—kind of like pairing a bold Cabernet with the perfect steak.

⚡ Lindsey Green – Account Executive

 Lindsey has more energy than a three-year-old on a sugar high, which makes her the perfect person to handle the fast-paced world of sales. Whether she’s tracking down clients, finalizing deals, or juggling multiple campaigns at once, she does it all at full speed. 

 If you need something done fast, Lindsey’s already halfway out the door making it happen. She thrives on the hustle, keeping up with her clients and making sure their advertising works as hard as she does. Just try to keep up.

 Emily’s positivity is infectious, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every client interaction. Whether she’s building strong relationships with clients, brainstorming creative campaigns, or handling the day-to-day chaos of sales, she does it all with a smile.
